Dr. Richard Brian Sharp, MD

I felt rushed and unimportant during my visit with Dr. Sharp. Extremely disappointing.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Sharp for almost a year. He’s very knowledgeable about many diseases. And is very attentive to everything you say. He’s never rushed and keeps up with what all of my other Drs are saying about my disease. And I have several for this one disease. He’s very caring, and I think it’s sad that they give him a low score because of his OLD NURSE. When it had nothing to do with the treatment or care he provided, I must not have been there with the old nurse...He has a wonderful nurse now. I was in a critical situation when I started using Dr Sharp And his nurse worked very hard helping me get in for an app faster then it shld hve been. Especially me being a new patient.

The doctor was thorough and personable, however the vitals nurse was rude, nose in the air. I was early to appt. had issues with check in admin. stuff due to being VES protocol was not followed, thats another issue. Again I was early called VA to inform them of issues of checking in, vital nurse caucasion mildly obese came out called my name , I said sorry this is important, again I am early, she spouted I will have to take someone else I said thats okay, Got done with VA on phone and the whole time the nurse is standing behind door figiting with nose in air. She called me again , and again still 15 minutes before appt. I went her deminor was rude nose in air huffing and puffing, so as she took my blood pressure I said you may want to take yours too, she spouting we are doing you a favor I said no you are getting paid. The only person with any customer service really was the doctor. You serve your country you go by the rules stated to you and guess what rudeness.
