Dr. Richard Scott Silverman, MD

Ive had asthma most of my adult life . Had a few good Drs but then came Dr Silverman If you have to be sick and need a Dr. You cant ask for anyone better. He is the best in my book along with his staff. I travel to Southbury ct. from ansonia beautiful well worth the ride to see such a great Dr. I believe as bad as my breathing got he is probably the only Dr. in this field who went so above and beyond to make sure I had my meds testing the machines I need to help me do my breathing exercise and he hooked me up with another Dr who is helping along with Dr Silverman with my sleep apnea. Not only is he a great Dr who makes sure you understand all that your going through he also knows how to be human he never ever talked at me he talks to me big diff he is also a very funny man.. He shows hes not only a Dr but a human with a family who truly cares bout both.. I would not change Drs for nothing.

I can't say enough about Dr. Silverman. He is a fantastic doctor who is compassionate, caring and extremely thorough. I had surgery and was having trouble with severe bleeding for days after and the surgeon who had operated wasn't doing anything really about it. In conversation with Dr. Silverman he asked how I was doing overall and I told him I'd had trouble with bleeding after surgery. He took one look at the incision and said he'd be right back. When he returned he said the surgeon would be calling me shortly. Within 5 minutes the surgeon called asked if I'd eaten and told me to meet him immediately at the hospital as I needed surgery. Dr. Silverman truly cares about his patients and I know I will be okay when he is called and I'm under his care. He also has a great personality!
