Dr. Richard A Smialek, DO

My physician for 20 years, I have seen Dr. Smialek for a variety of issues. I was successfully treated for a basal cell cancer on my back which Dr. Smialek discovered and removed. I developed a problem with pain and numbness in my right hand which he resolved. Most recently my procedures have been cosmetic and non-invasive with wonderful results. Dr. Smialek is personable and kind, making an effort to explain procedures and anticipated results thoroughly with me prior to any procedures. I have complete trust and confidence in Dr. Smialek.

Please be warned that Dr. Grawe is unskilled and unethical. She botched my breast aug and lift in 2015 and I am still suffering from the aftermath. Her solution for her mistakes was for me to pay her to redo the surgery. She pretends to be sweet and bubbly, but that is her fake persona and she is not authentic in personality or genuine. More importantly, she is a talentless surgeon. I tried communicating with her personally again after the surgery to figure out a suitable solution for her screw ups. She was too embarrassed to see me face to face and refused to meet. She said she didn’t like my online reviews. I didn’t like that she botched my surgery and then had the audacity to try to gain more money from me. I wish I had been warned that she is an unprofessional, uncaring, surgeon that does not stand by her work or fix her mistakes when she screws up. Think long and hard before you choose this doctor. You will be lucky if things go smoothly, however if she… botched you, be prepared to pay her for her mistakes.
