Dr. Roland Snure, MD

I went to see Dr. Snure to have a cyst removed from my inner thigh in April of 2022. He was the only option near me at the time. I have never felt so disrespected by a healthcare provider in my life. When I went in for my consultation I told him I was in immense pain because of the cyst, especially because it was in a high friction area. After telling him this he squeezed it so hard that I cried in his office and he proceeded to tell me that I didn't need it removed but that he guessed we could remove it 'if I really wanted to'. For the procedure I was put under when normally you would just use a local anesthesia and he told me to come back to get the stitches out 3 weeks later which is more than twice the normal period for stitches of that kind to stay in and I had to go to urgent care to have them removed after my skin began growing over the stitches. The cherry on top is that the cyst wasn't even fully removed and came back in less than a month. Dealing with him was traumatizing for… me. It actually put me in a position where I no longer trusted the medical system had my best interest at heart. It is worth driving several hours away to find someone who will treat you with respect to avoid being in the care of this man. It has been three years since I saw him and I am still unbelievably upset by the way that I was treated.

Dr Snure is one of the worst doctors I've laid my eyes on. My girlfriend went in for consultation on a surgery she needed after suffering for years with pain. Instead of wanting to help, Dr Snure was excited (with a grin from ear to ear) to tell her how overweight she was and how he would never want to perform surgery on someone of her weight. If he bothered to look at her medical history he'd see she was rapidly losing weight. Instead he ran into the room without introducing himself and proceeded to talk down to my girlfriend. Not even bothering to listen to what was wrong, he opened our conversation with "So what are you doing about your weight?". No introduction, no care for her pain, and all of the rudeness and sass he could muster up. Over the span of the next 5 minutes he completely dismissed her pain, insulted her weight multiple times, and talked down to my girlfriend as if she hadn't spent the last few months in and out of specialists offices, medical tests, and emergency… rooms. Instead of recommending what weight she should aim for, he reminded her that he'd much rather have me, a skinny white male, as his patient to be performing surgery on. If you ever need to go to this surgeon, run in the opposite direction. He doesn't care for your health.

Dr. Snurr is very efficient, compassionate and kind. I would recommend him to anyone.
