Dr. Richard Glen Sparks, DDS

I saw Dr Sparks years ago, but I still get upset when thinking about his practice and my front teeth. I needed to have my front teeth replaced (I already had and implant and cap on my 2 front teeth from years prior before moving to Texas). Dr Sparks convinced me to get my next 2 teeth redone as well with vineers. I agreed but when he went in to fix the teeth he ground them all the way down to make them ready for caps instead or vineers. I should have left his office then and there and gone to another dentist, and not paid for the 2 extra caps. But I didn't. A few weeks later, one of my new caps (on a tooth that was previously perfectly healthly) started to hurt. It was because it was rubbing incorrectly against my bite guard that Dr Sparks didn't correctly adjust for the new tooth. I think this tooth may still have had temporary cement holding it in, I can't remember now, but I do remember Dr Sparks was yanking on the cap trying to get it to come loose. It never did come… loose and caused way more discomfort. Ultimately the tooth died and I now needed a root canal (on my previously perfectly health tooth). And Dr Sparks also denied ever seeing my bite guard before. I told Dr Sparks I was going to get a second opinion. I went to a new dentist and never went back to Dr Sparks.
