Dr. Richard Allen Steckley, MD

I recently had a problem with my left arm that ended up showing that I had a 99% plugged artery to my heart. Dr. Steckley patiently worked on this one artery for 3 hrs 15 min. and put three stents in which gave me a total of four. The artery was so badly closed and tight that this took quite a bit of work. By doing this he prevented me from having to have open heart surgery. He is gifted, intelligent, and patient with his patients & their family. A fantastic physician!

Dr. Steckley is a good caring doctor, however his office staff at the front desk are curt and some are downright rude. We had an appt. one day at 10am and at 10:30 I went to ask why we hadn't been seen and was told rather brusquely "Appointments are made at a certain time, that doesn't mean you will be seen at that time, it could be another hour or so" This was not explained to us when we made the appt. The desk for the receptionists is too high, it is almost like a wall, keeping people out.
