Dr. Richard S Stein, MD

My husband was under the care of Dr. Richard Stein for two years. He was diagnosed at age 60 with ALL which is the leukemia that is rare for adult. My husband was blessed to have Dr. Stein as his cancer doctor. My husband felt he was getting the best treatment he could possibly get. Before my husband saw Dr. Stein he was diagnosed and told without treatment he had maybe six weeks but treatment could prolong his life. With the good Lord and Dr. Stein's experience, knowledge and wisdom my husband had a battle but thankful for every day of two years, which was a gift. I highly recommend Dr. Stein.

This is a terrible doctor...just wants to give a diagnosis and leave the room. Has no time for questions at all, in fact seems bothered by the idea that someone would want to ask a question. After leaving a message on a Fri and not getting a call back until the following Tues, he tells me by phone that my mother is very sick, may not be treatable and may not survive, yet he has no plan and/or treatment. Seemingly unbothered by giving me the news. He hangs up the call with a Good Luck, I wish you Good Luck. I don't think he cares about his patients at all! Who gives news like that in a 4 day late phone call with no sympathy???
