Dr. Richard Stewart graduated in 1992 from Southern Illinois University-School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Stewart had been practicing General Dentistry in Elburn, Illinois since 1995. Continuing education is of the utmost importance to Dr. Stewart. He is only one of 135 dentists to reach mentor status after graduation from the KOIS Center for Advancing Dentistry Through Science. Dr. Stewart has also taken numerous continuing education courses on dental implants in order to be able to provide comprehensive dental care to patients with missing teeth. Since 1993, Dr. Stewart has worked on Fridays at the Jack Mabley Developmental Center with developmentally handicapped adults. He has staff priviledges at Katherine-Shaw-Bethea Hospital in Dixon, Illinois.
