Dr. Richard Charles Stigliano, DO

My wife has a lot of medical issues. She made an appointment with Dr Stigliano. Two weeks later on the day of the appointment, someone from his office calls and said that the doctor would not see her because she had too many health issues and that she needed to see an internist.

I recently encountered significant challenges with this medical practice regarding medical leave documentation. Initially, I was assured that my forms could be completed via phone consultation, which was essential given my recurrent hospital admissions for the same condition. However, when the time came for my follow-up, I was informed that an in-person visit was now required. This inconsistency created considerable stress, as my forms were time-sensitive and I was hospitalized at the Cleveland Clinic without a known discharge date. When I inquired about the policy change, I was told that Dr. Richard Stigliano refused to complete the paperwork over the phone, despite having done so previously. Frustrated, I remarked that it looked like I would need to find a different doctor. Shortly after, I was unexpectedly discharged from the practice, with a note stating non-compliance with medical procedures—a claim I strongly dispute, as I have consistently followed all recommended… treatments. Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling unsupported during a difficult time. Now, due to this decision, I am facing a two-month wait to see a new primary care provider, all while my health issues continue to escalate, putting my life at further risk. I hope future patients receive clear, consistent communication and that patient needs are prioritized over administrative policies.

Dr. Stigliano has been my family Doctor for over 30 years. There is none better than him!

Horrible experience. Doesn’t care about you as a person.

Dr. Rick Always listens, suggests, counsels. Never treats me like I am an uniformed person, and always is willing to discuss whatever needs to be discussed. Dr. Rick is always kind, compassionate, and he truly cares about his patients - myself and others I see at the office. I am lucky to have him as my doc !

Him and his brother are great doctors. My family has gone to them for more than 6 years. Very friendly and caring.they try to get you in and out quick, but with accuracy. Not a single complaint.

Dr. Rick is a great Dr, yeah sometimes he is rushed, but you did take the time either to ask him the questions, he will sit and answer all your questions and listen if you speak up. It isnt always the drs fault the patients dont always speak up and then you think he is rushing you out.my husband and myself and the kids have been seeing him for 15 yrs and have never had any problem, he has always been right

I would rate Dr. Rick as not horrible but not terrific either. I have always been able to get an appointment quickly and I've never had to wait unusually long in the office. However, he typically makes me feel rushed during my appointment and I am not convinced that he has my best interests for my health in mind. He is not very personable, and (some of) his staff are not friendly at all. I also recieved some contradicting medical information from him on separate occasions, which bothered me.

My family has been going to Dr. Stigliano's office for 15 years. My children have always been able to be seen the same day without lengthy waits. They love going here and feel very comfortable. The Dr.'s are very accessable and the staff is prompt and courteous.

He is very rude, as is his staff.
