Dr. Richard David Strominger, MD

My 6 year old son just had the worst experience with Dr. Strominger. The doctor pushed his head into the wall trying to do a strep test, gagged him to the point of vomiting, and then held him down and pinched his nose closed so he couldn't breathe. I then grabbed the doctor's arm and told him to take his hands off my son. Dr. Strominger then stated that my son's behavior was not normal. It was perfectly normal for a sick child, that doesn't like doctor's to begin with, to become upset when the doctor whips out a stick and tells the child he is going to stick it down his throat. My son has a scratch on his forehead from being held down. This doctor needs to retire. He was talking about another patient while in my room and the office staff I dealt with were rude! The nurse was complaining that they needed to hurry, there were other patients in the waiting room. I would not recommend this place to anyone!
