Dr. Richard Sy Teh, MD

I have been this mans patient for 25 years. He is the most knowledgeable and informed doctor I have every encountered. I am an OR RN and I would only trust my life to this man. He leans on the side of holistic medicine but also uses conventional medicine too. He is in demand and hard to get into because he is so amazing. He truly cares about people, his patient and not profits. He wants to get to know every patient he has and treat each one individually. I just love this man!!! I trust him with my (and my childrens) life! There arent enough characters in the alphabet to express how amazing he is as a physician and person. A one of a kind doctor. We will all be worse off when he retires.

Dr. Teh does an outstanding job of taking care of his patients. He is not quick to prescribe medications when a natural remedy will work just as well with no side affects. I highly recommend Dr. Teh and his wife.

Fired him for negligence.

I am suffering from MYASTHENIA GRAVIS, which causes a rogue anti body in my immune system to attack the nerve/muscle connections in my head (eye focus, eye lid, swallowing, etc) and render them impaired. For this disease, I am require to take a daily dose of Rx steroids. Such steroids raise the blood sugar in my body. Dr. Teh spotted the continued rise in my blood sugar from semi annual visits with a Lab. report. He put me on a series of herbs with counteracted the side effects of taking the Rx steroid. He is aware of all the Rx I take and recommends additional OTC vitamins and herbs to strengthen my overall health. Grateful to have a Primary Care Physician which is looking after my entire health, rather than just treating a specific ailment.

this doc is crazy

I have lived in las vegas for 25 yrs. and heard of Dr, Teh about 5 yrs. ago. When i had my first check up he also did a pap, i have never had a male obgyn and i was so nervous but he made me feel at ease. When he walks into the room he gives me a hug and asks me how i am doing, hows life, hows my boyfirend. then he asks how my knee is and my asthma is doing. He asks the questions you want to ask , he just beat you to it because he cares about everything just to make sureeverything is fine. He will even listen to me if I am having a bad day. He cares about his patiencets as if they were his own childern. He told me once that he enjoys his job, and thats the difference between PPO and HMO (he is PPO) PPO doctors get to chose their patiencets and HMO do not. He always puts a smile on my face when i leave the office and when its and emergency he would rather you come in without an appoint for him to take care of you instead of going to a gross hospital. I now live in Oklahoma and make it… a point when i go back to see my family in Las Vegas i make a appointment with him for all my check ups. He is the only Dr. that i will go to for my check ups and other needs unless its an emergency. thank you Dr. Teh for making a difference.

Doctor Teh has an excellent ability to spot your problem and to provide what is needed to correct same.He has been directing me away from statin type prescription pills to vitamins after seeing the statins lose their ability to deal with my health issues.I trust Doctor Teh in every way and have always believed that he has my very best interests at heart.This recognizes that Doctor Teh is dealing with a considerable volume of patients every day.In fact,Doctor Teh is also attending to my wife.We couldn't be more pleased with the manner in which we are treated.We have been satisfied patients of Doctor Teh and his colleagues over the past 15 years.

Before seeing Dr. Teh, you should be ready to change to a better health habit. He is proactive and into natural ways of healing. He will ask you to eat the right kind of food as opposed to giving you medicines if if still allowable. What I mean is steak plus lipitor will become little steak with no lipitor. He is very good.

I have been going to Dr.Teh for almost 10 years and I have never had any complaints! He is very intelligent,dilligent about finding a solution to your ailment, gives you follow up spots. ,and will refer you to a Speciality Dr. If he feels you need further care.

Dr. Teh never takes chances when you come in to see him for a problem. He will start with testing of major things just to eliminate them. He is a very compassionate and caring Dr and will take time to explain things. For me, I have never left his office without a hug.
