Dr. Richard Randall Thacker, DO

I have found Dr. Thacker to be very caring, informed, wise and up to date. He takes time with you and makes you feel heard and understood. I have found him to be a very good diagnostician and very good at adjusting meds if necessary. I would recommend him with reservation.

Since my move to Tallahassee I have had some health issues and have seen approximately six specialists here and in major cities but Dr. Thacker is the one who has compiled all of the information and taken his time and his knowledge to figure out the root of my problem. I had an occasion to go to the emergency room and when he got the records his staff called me the next day.for a follow-up visit. Simply above and beyond service with a sincere caring from not only Dr Thacker but his entire staff. I am very fortunate to have him on my side!

Dr. Thacker is my primary physician, or general practitioner, if you prefer. He helps me keep up with scheduling for important tests like colonoscopies, mammograms and dexascans. Also he sees me for twice-a-year fasting blood work visits. These are necessary for regulating my sugar and cholesterol levels and other bodily functions and processes. Overall, he is a very good doctor and advisor and I accept and respect his opinions. I have attended this Capital Regional Medical Group for 22 years and find its services very helpful and efficient. Unless I need a different doctor or type of care, I shall continue to use this Medical Group, CRMG, for my healthcare needs. Thank you for all you have done and continue to do for me!!

It is easy to get appointment, short waiting times, all staff friendly, knowledgable, prompt. Doctors are informed, helpful, kind.

I don't know of a better Doctor or staff than this one. There maybe but I don't know them. I have been his patient for almost 18 years my whole family are his patients also. I do recommend him and his staff to everyone that asks me what doctor do I use.

At the time I was looking for a doctor, doctors were either not taking new patients or not taking medicare so when I called the Capital Medical Society they said Dr. Thacker was good and I would like him which is true. I had some serious health issues this past year and because of his care, concern and knowledge I am still here and active! I have and will continue to recommend him to anyone needing a physician.
