Just felt like the doc looked at his computer more than interacting with me as the pt. I understand there is charting and things to do but just felt like he was just going through the motions of the questions and what needed to be filled out on his end. Nice but just not great "bedside manner". Not upset because I work in the field but may be discouraging to other patients who do not feel as comfortable in those settings.

I appreciate Dr Thigpen's care very much. I had such traumatizing experiences with my male pediatrician, but I feel very comfortable with Dr Thigpen. He is nothing but professional and I know he is practicing good medicine.

I do wish there had been a better explanation of next steps. As a first time mom, I do not know what I do not know. When I called the next day to set up my appointment for a dating scan and genetic testing, I had to talk to multiple offices and reschedule appointments as I found out that the genetic testing couldn't be done without the dating scan. In addition, I wish the consent papers would have been offered to me at my first appointment. I had to drive back out to the Bellevue office from Hermitage the next week just to sign consent to have genetic testing.

Very good experience

Dr. Thigpen is so down to earth and personable! Love him!
