From the moment i walked in and was greeted by the women working in the front i new i was in the right place. the office has a very calming clean energy about it. Dr Torban was extremely personable and has helped me tremendously with getting my mental health back on track. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is struggling or just looking to improve their mental health.

I truly appreciate Dr. Torban. I have suffered from anxiety my entire life. After my divorce in 2016 I was a mess. I was referred to Dr. Torban and have been with him every since. I have never felt this amazing in my life. This year I turn 70, and feel like everyday is wonderful, what freedom! He has helped me get my anxiety under control and has truly changed my life. Thank you endlessly Dr. Torban. You are wonderful.

I'm very frustrated that I called the office 20 minutes before my appointment—yes, it was last minute, but I was in a situation where I couldn’t take the call to proceed with my appointment. Despite that, the doctor still chose to charge me a $125 no-show fee. Given that he’s a psychiatrist, I would have expected more understanding and consideration. I will not be returning.

I've been seeing Richard Torban since 2003. During our last telephonic appointment I told him that a change he had made in my Klonopin dosage had left me with withdrawal distress, and that I had tried increasing it to obtain relief. He started yelling at me, something he had done at least four times before. I managed to interject, "You need to work on your anger management... It's never appropriate that you yell at a patient" into the conversation, before I had no option but to hang up on him. A few days later I received a letter informing me that he would no longer be able treat me due to my abuse of controlled medications. I had no intention of ever dealing with him again so his letter came as a relief. If you are looking for a psychiatrist in the area I recommended strongly that you look elsewhere.
