Dr. Richard Tye, DDS

OUR MISSION
Our office exists to serve the people we have dedicated ourselves to—our patients. We will create an environment of honesty and professionalism where the patient will feel comfortable, cared for, and welcome. All patients will be aware of the quality of care they receive and the sincere care of the staff for them.
We pledge to be positive and supportive team members, to create a place where we are able to enjoy each other while encouraging and supporting personal and professional growth. We will continue to attend educational seminars, as well as try to gain new knowledge from our daily work experiences.
Dr. Richard Tye
Dr. Tye is the owner of the practice and has served the North Shore area for over 34 years. He is a graduate of Northwestern University, where he also received his D.D.S. at their School of Dentistry. He was the Team Dentist for 9 years for the Northwestern University Athletic Department; his tenure included the Rose, Citrus, Alamo, and Motor City Bowls …with the football team. His practice was just named the #1 dental office out of over 5,000 offices in the Chicagoland area for 2007-2008 by Chicago Consumers' Checkbook Magazine/Consumers' Report.
Dr. Tye, who wears the most colorful Hawaiian shirts this side of Waikiki, resides in Wilmette with his wife, Carole, and their daughter, Katelyn. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Chicago Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Verena Phillips
Dr. Verena Phillips brings an international perspective to our office. Born in Germany, she attended the University of Michigan for her undergraduate degree and continued on to their School of Dentistry. She then completed an intensive hospital-based General Practice Residency in Dentistry at Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago.
Dr. Phillips is also a certified provider of Invisalign - the clear braces technology. 2009 marks Dr. Phillips' 15th year practicing dentistry with Dr. Tye.
Dr. Phillips now resides in the North Shore with her husband and 3 children. She is a member of the Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Chicago Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
