He was very compassionate and held our hand after both of my boys (21months apart) had to go to NICU. My eldest was born 34 weeks and was in NICU for 12 days. He ran an echo on him a couple of days before discharge, and seen my sons heart was big and diagnosed him with Cardiomyopathy. My second son was born at 36 weeks and was in NICU for 3days. He was hypoglycemic and heavy breathing. Dr. VanWoerkom held our hand and walked us through every procedure that was done. He listened and attended to our needs. Thank you Dr.

Dr. Van Woerkom is extremely knowledgeable is his practice. He was also very considerate and kind to our family while he was serving us

Dr Van Woerkom is superior in his knowledge and practice of it. He is one of the most dedicated doctors I know. I felt confident in all his decisions, manner, and expertise. I would reccomend him to anyone.

He is not considerate of patient's needs and is very arrogant. I wish I could change him as the primary doc for my child. Once he starts speaking, he does not stop and cuts parents off in between.
