Dr. Richard Roylan Warrington, MD

Completely uncaring and arrogant. Saw this alleged provider at the Abrazo West emergency room in the West Valley in Aug. 2017. He dismissed my issue, told me there was nothing he could do in an ER setting and advised me to see my family doctor. I spent a total of 3 minutes with this guy... The exam room curtain wasn't even pulled, then was hit with a bill for nearly $1,400! For LITERALLY 3 minutes. I feel scammed! And the kicker? The x-ray I went to the ER hoping to get, which he refused, is exactly what my family doctor ordered the very next day. This guy said it would do no good and to get lost. It was the first thing a more competent doctor ordered just a day later. Zero compassion... Completely indifferent. He gets 1 star because 0 wasn't an option.

This physician hates elderly patients and will even refuse to treat them accordingly. My Mom was sent to ER and Warrington refused to give her a blood transfusion. She had a cardiac issue and he refused to get a cardiologist for her, even after her physician by phone, insisted that she get a cardiologist immediately. Warrington believes that elderly should be sent to Hospice. He stresses out family members, talks loud on the phone so everyone can hear. I heard him insult me, (family member), refuse to get my Mom the proper specialist after he was told to do so by another physician, and is extremely arrogant. In my opinion, he is cold hearted, cares less about patients, stupid person, and should lose his license.

My husband took me to the emergency room a couple of nights ago. I was having neurological symptoms, and I was very frightened. This "doctor" told me that since I have had the symptoms for a couple of days, it's considered chronic and it would be "bad medicine" and a waste of his time to treat me. As I was walking out, one of the techs said to me.."that was quick". I told him I wasn't emergent enough for the doctor to see me. The hospital is ok....just don't get this guy as your ER doc. I have never been treated so unprofessionally. This man has major issues with his bedside manner. I could and would have overlooked that, if he at least was actually going to do something to earn his paycheck, but he didn't. By the way...I'm a Registered Nurse of 25 years.

One of the worst and most rude doctors I've ever encountered. Ignored one of the main reasons my Mother went to the ER and claimed she never told him the symptom. Horrible bedside manner and not thorough in his exam or diagnosis. Keep your family members away from him. This rating system required I choose an overall rating and wouldn't let me go lower than one star. It should be zero.
