Excellent low impact approach to hyperthyroidism. Didn't jump immediately to surgery once initial symptoms were controlled.

Diagnosed with Graves Disease. Doctor spent time to educate me on my condition. Recommended resources to learn more about my condition. He is very pleasant. Never rushed. Has been monitoring my blood tests twice each month to watch for possible side effects of the medication. Monitoring my white count to ensure it does not drop below acceptable levels since I suffer from low WBC.

Dr. Weirich put me on a new insulin pen and when I told his office that my blood sugars were reading "hi" and not coming down, I was told to just continue with what I was doing. I finally went into Ketoacidosis and had to go to the emergency room during vacation. Needless to say, I did not continue under his care, as his care was rather careless.

After RAI, My Dr retireing and 2 other Drs, I found Dr Weirich, he took the time to explain the ins an outs of Graves disease, Changed my meds, and my condition is now under control, If I have any problems or questions I just pick up the phone

Dr. Weirich explains things in a easy to understand way. Doctor Weirich is very down to earth and patiently explains things to me. He also has a excellent sense of humor which really helps put me at ease. In my opinion he is a excellent physician.

Dr Weirich is the only endo out of 3 I have seen that knows how to treat my Graves disease, I put my trust in him and he has so far not dissapointed me in the care I have received.

No follow up from Doctor. Passes the buck. Great nurses, horrible doctor. No wonder he been fired from 2 other local hospitals.

Dr. Weirich is gentle, patient, respectful, and has the utmost knowledge regarding my needs. He makes certain that I understand what he is talking about and explains when necessary. Best endo doc I have ever been to -- worth the wait!
