Dr. Richard Weyler, MD

If I could leave 0 stars I would. My Daughter had a 2 week stay at Foundations in May with Dr. Weyler It was a hellish experience top to bottom. I'll start by saying that as a Mom of two special needs children with traumatic backgrounds, I am very well informed and have worked with many mental healthcare organizations at this point. I know that there is nowhere perfect. However, Foundations takes the cake as far as incompetent, harmful behavior. For the first 72 hours she was at Foundations, she did not recieve those medications AT all. If she had been non-verbal I would never have known. He never called me to discuss this and took no responsibility. He then would not approve a transfer to another facility, instead requesting discharge to a lower level of care than she already had. They didn't realize the inadequate level of care recommended because they "hadn't read her file well." I will scream from the rooftops, avoid this place and this doctor at all costs.
