I not only work with him, I was his patient. He's known throughout hospitals as a fantastic surgeon and he treats his patients and all the staff with respect and professionalism. I picked him to do my surgery because of this and haven't regretted it for a moment. It's been two years and my abdominal surgery is still a complete success. I would definitely recommend him...

Grateful, Dr Whitman squeezed me in immediately that day when I called in in pain for days. I was aware of my gall stone dx 6 months prior Wonderful doctor, not warm fuzzy, but a professional and kind surgeon. Scheduled Surgery next day at my choice of location. Chandler Hosp was superb with kind professional staff and spotless.

Dr. Whitman immediately made me feel comfortable in an extremely difficult and painful emergency situation. After the surgery he was very communicative as to what had happened and what I should expect, as well as answer all of my questions. His support staff in the hospital were equally caring and took the same time to answer all of my questions.I feel very lucky to have had Dr. Whitman as my surgeon.

Dr. Whitman refused to answer my questions on a follow up visit after he removed my appendix. He was short with me and rude.
