Richard H. Wood, DDS
Dr. Wood established his private practice in Richmond in January of 1978. Prior to that, he graduated from Virginia Military Institute in 1968 and the Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry in 1972. He did postgraduate training while serving as a dental officer in the US Air Force from 1972-1978. Dr. Wood is a member of all levels of organized dentistry- American Dental Association, a fellow of the Virginia Dental Association, and a past-president of the Richmond Dental Society. He is a member of the American College of Dentistry and has served as an Assistant Clinical Professor at VCU/MCV School of Dentistry in the Department of Endodontics for over 29 years. Dr. Wood has also been included in the last three of Richmond Magazine's Top Dentists issues as the leading general dentist vote recipient.
