Such a conscientious doctor- the kind you need on your breast cancer journey. What a kind man

He's just wonderful! Great bedside manner. Is very kind and gentle.

Exceptional! I have never had a surgeon with such warmth and compassion. Very knowlegable about breast cancer and also has a great sense of humor! I feel so lucky to have had him as my surgeon.

Absolutely one of the best Dr. that I have been with. Ease of talking, through, always patient, showed concerns, discuss everything, and his staff is the same. I would only have BC surgery by him. I even went for a second opinion and he said that it is good to do so, and I did and went back to him. top of the ladder he is.

Dr. Zera is the best doctor! He took real care in my treatment and was so kind and gentle when I was afraid at 27 years of age. He performed a surgery that produced great results. He followed up with me consistently. He is 1 in a million! Love Dr. Zera!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He treats me like a human being, even when he's tired and overworked. He's funny, he's extremely well versed in his field. He has an endless amount of drive and curiosity about medicine. He's kind, thorough, and a good teacher. Realistic, but sensitive AND a surgeon. He's one in a million. He's a good person and a wonderful doctor. I'm lucky to know him.

Exceptional with allowing me to take the time I needed with each appointment, addressed questions, engaged in conversation in a mutually participative manner. He "gets" what it means to assist with partnering in care. Helped to sort out possible avenues of treatment utilizing his research background, taking into consideration research of interest to me - remained grounded and practical while taking into account my personal preferences.

Dr. Zera is a patient and gentle man who humanizes care in a way that I have not experienced before. He is thorough in his testing and willing to seek advice from peer level oncologists for the best patient outcome. He is a brilliant physician without the ego. He is trustworthy and very giving with his time. I would recommend him to anyone facing a breast cancer crisis. You would be lucky to be placed in his hands.

THE best doctor I've ever had. All appropriate tests for diagnosis, as well as surgery, were done unbelievably quickly. Patiently responded to all my questions and gave me choices regarding treatment. Was empathetic and professional at all times.
