Dr. Rick Ken Wilson, MD

He needs to spend time with his patients instead of using a rotating staff to do his work. If he had taken the time to speak with me in private I would not be writing this note. I have been with him for over 40 years and whenever there is a problem he gets angry instead of taking the time to speak one on one he takes all of the information from the nurse whom I had never even met. I suggest he work more directly so he knows what procedures have been recommended by the rotating staff of nurses then he would be in a good position to have an understanding of any issues and could actually contribute to the dialog but he jumps to conclusions and that is not a win win for anyone. He dismissed me and demanded I leave his practice and he had no idea of what had happened. When dealing with him it is like he listens to the grapevine ( his always changing nurses) and then makes his decision without even consulting the patient. Disappointing to not have any support from someone who could provide… it. I have been supportive of him and his quests in the name of religious journeys for years..not sure what happened but I will no longer be going there.

IPL was new as a rosacea treatment when I found Dr. Wilson. My skin looked like a had a sunburn all the time. I received 10 treatments (a series of 5 and then 2 years later another 5). It has been over 4 years since my last treatment and my skin still looks good. Rosacea is progressive so I do treat my skin gently and use topical meds. However, my skin looks normal now even good for my age. Dr. Wilson carefully mapped out a plan and monitored every treatment I had. He treated me with expert care and compassion. In future, if I need further touchups or other treatments I will go see him. The nurse that did most of my treatments was Cheri and she was great and very much an expert.

I have seen Dr. Wilson every two years for the past six years. His staff is always pleasant and professional. I have been very satisfied with the procedures performed and would not hesitate to see him again.
