Dr. Ricky Lynn Mcelvain, MD

Dr. McElvain is soft spoken but very knowledgable and caring. He is excellent at diagnosing and treating chronic conditions like high blood pressure. In my case it took an unusual combination of medicines to get my BP down and keep it there. He doesn't run an assembly line and use the same treatment for everyone. He sees you as an individual and tries to find the best way to treat your condition even if he has to go get a reference book and double check something. A great staff, short waits, and a lab next door make it easy to get in and out in minimal time. Great doctor.

I don't know why anyone would not rate Dr. McElvain as excellent *unless* they don't want a Dr. that tells them the truth. If you want to be mollycoddled you want to look elsewhere. If, however, you want someone who is intelligent, caring, and won't give up on you this is the man. He has literally saved my life.
