Dr. Ricky Scott Shaffren

While Dr. Shaffren is such a kind, in-depth dentist, with a wonderful bedside manner, his staff is something else... They ran my insurance wrong during my visit then continuously called and nagged me about an $8 balance for months, despite me telling them I do not give my CC information out over the phone and I would pay when I came in for the next visit. When my insurance switched and my next appointment was scheduled, they once again called for the payment, which I said I would pay on arrival. I was told unless I paid over the phone now, I would not be able to keep my appointment. No! Charlotte at the front desk is just a nasty lady, she talks down to you and gives you dirty looks as you speak approach the desk. So uncomfortable! Go elsewhere!!!!!

Don't go to this dentist. He overcharges you by at least 40% more than other reputable dentists. His staff will not allow you to talk to him and are very rude. I sent the doctor a personal and confidential letter and he never had the courtesy to reply and give me a 50% refund for reasons I legtimately explained as advised by the American Dental Association.
