Dr. Riddell Walcott Scott, MD

Dr riddell scott as terrific. polite. listened. i simply do not understand why anybody would say differently. look forward to annual visits.

I felt very belittled and uncomfortable during my whole appointment with Dr. Scott. I felt that the exam was not very thorough and that she didn't want to deal with my concerns. She was quick to refer me to one of her colleagues for specific spots that I had. She seemed flustered and repeated herself a couple of times throughout the appointment. I will not be returning to see her in a year from now. I left Ridgeview Chaska Clinic highly disappointed about my appointment.

I have seen Dr. Scott 3 times but it will be my last. She poses questions in a rude and condescending fashion and when asked a question, fails to answer directly, instead gabbing on about how much she knows. (?) Her nurse was wonderful and helpful, attempting to interpret as well as she could, given Dr. Scott's apparent lack of social skills. She may know skin and medicine but she's only arrogant and does not communicate any care for her patients, only for shining in her new adult role.

This doctor has very poor communication skills and appears unfriendly and rude. I felt belittled and uncomfortable.

I can't say anything profoundly negative about my experience other than it was the least comfortable derm exam I have ever had. Each time I tried to ask a quesiton, she interupted and said something else. She is likely knowlegable and since my main goal was to evaluate possible dangerous skin issues the exam was not a total waste. There was an "upsell feeling"; basically to other departments (cosmetic) and wanting me to rebook for next year already. I am just not comforable enough to go back.

I was seen at my appointed time, had a fine check in experience with the front desk and with the nurse who took me back. Dr. Scott was pleasant, knowledgeable, informative and conducted my skin tag removal with speed and accuracy. Completely happy with my visit.

My sister was seen by Dr Scott, and was recommended to have an aggressive excisional resection (a total of 10-12cm of length) prior to even having a biopsy (no history of skin cancer) This is unsafe and unnecessary care. Go see someone else.

Very competent doctor and professional

She was absolutely terrible for starters she was always late even if I was the first appointment she was consistently late. Secondly she was unhelpful the nurse provided more information. She never took the town to se if I had questions. She also didn’t even know who I was on multiple occasions and forgot that I had already gone through testing for alergies. She didn’t care about how I felt or the treatment I got all she cared about was getting through the appointment so she could make money. NEVER GO TO HER.

We found Dr. Scott via the clinic's website. The website stated that she specializes in psoriasis so we brought my son in for a consultation. While in the exam room, she asked my son to take off his shirt so she could see his rashes. While leaning against the sink and with her arms folded over her chest, she looked down at my son, not even coming close to him to examine him and stupidly asked "Do you want to get better?" I thought that was rather obvious. We were there to see a doctor because my son wanted to get well from his condition. It took a lot of restraint not to respond sarcastically that the reason we are there is so we can admire her beautiful, arrogant face. She recommended a very expensive medicine which we of course could not afford. The visit to this doctor was a total waste of time. She does not deserve even 1 star.
