Many years ago I had to have a cortisone shot in my right hip I went to a doctor close to me at that time when he gave the shot it hurt me so bad it felt like a truck hit me it was very painful, so a year later I need another shot so I looked around and found Dr Zaidi . I made a appointment I was not looking forward for this shot just remembering what the last shot felt like, so I got up on the table Dr Zaidi was very comforting, I was actually crying cause I didn’t want to go through that pain again, when he gave me the shot I didn’t even feel it, I got up and no pain, even a couple days later no pain and the cortisone actually worked at this time my husband started to have knee issues so I had him go to Dr Zaidi , he had a scope and a replacement, this Dr is the best, I recommend him to everyone. Dr. Zaidi diagnosed me after years of hip pain and has been an attentive and respectful ally as I deal with my condition. Besides being a knowledgeable orthopedist, he has an endearing nature and a good sense of humor. He is great with children as well and treated my daughter's broken leg with patience and understanding.

I had my right hip replaced by Doctor Zaidi. I would highly recommend him to anyone considering joint surgery. Prior to surgery, I could barely walk- even with cane. Excellent surgeon and great person.

Had shoulder surgery with Dr. Zaidi and he did an incredible job, I was able to move my arm in less than a week after surgery and all the previous pain is gone with just some stiffness from surgery still lingering. He's honestly an incredible surgeon and an amazing, caring and honest Dr., would definitely trust him with any future orthopedic care.

not for everyone

I've had a trigger finger for a year. Dr. Zaidi treated it with cortisone injections which worked for awhile. I saw him again recently when the problem returned. He gave me 2 options, #1 surgery in the OR #2 BLIND surgery in his office. After a little chat I opted for the procedure in his office. He numbed my hand and began. No pain, miniscule incision, new finger that works just fine! Very short recovery. Consider this option if you need to have a correction. Amazing! Wendy Trickett

I had my left hip replaced by Doctor Zaidi. I would highly recommend him & his team of caregivers. I was treated with the utmost care & my surgery has given me improved quality of life. I should have done this sooner.

On all counts, he rates five stars. (I am perplexed by the two negative reviews. They seem invalid.) His diagnosis was accurate, and he was very helpful in helping me decide between a partial and a full right knee replacement. We chose the latter, and this decision worked out perfectly. I am three months out from the surgery, and I am doing everything normally. A little pain at night that is now almost gone. He gained my respect, and I will trust him with the other knee, if necessary. A good man.

I have been a patient of Dr Zaidi for a little over one year. He did m husband's knee replacement 2 years ago and all is well. I am seeing him for gel injections to hold off on an eventual knee replacement on my right knee (had the left one done 3 years ago before we moved to Maine.) I find him to be kind, gentle and yes, a man of few words until you engage him. I am a "white American woman" and he has treated me very respectfully. His work in Pakistan to help build schools for girls is remarkable. Knees are very complex. I bulit a strong relationship with my surgeon in Mass, and it is difficult to start over, but I like Dr. Zaidi and trust him.
