Dr. Rim Tabbaa

A few years ago, my cholesterol level was elevated (this has happened in the past). Dr. Tabbaa insisted on treating it with Zetia even though I pointed to the fact that I have been given Lipitor in the past with very good response. I developed a series of symptoms a week after starting the medication. Her office staff did not get back to me when I phoned to make my initial complaint. I eventually ended up fighting for my life in an Intensive Care Unit. On discharge and follow-up visit, Dr. Tabbaa gowned up and treated me like a very infectious patient. After referring me to an Infection specialist who was of the opinion that an infectious agent was not the problem and agreed with me that I was reacting to a new medication, Dr. Tabbaa still refuse to acknowledge that I could be reacting to Zetia. In fact, she said that I could be reacting to the other 2 medications I have been taking for years. A UK physician diagnosed Steven Johnson syndrome. It's been about 5 years now, am… still taking the previous 2 other medications and I am still alive. The emotional and financial trauma I suffered remain with me to this day.

Dr. Tabbaa is an excellent listener and diagnostician, and she's extremely thorough and efficient. Outstanding front office and nursing staff, as well. Highly recommend this practitioner and her staff.

Dr.Tabbaa is one of the best doctors I have. She cares about her patients! She always listens, She never rushes you out or cuts you off in conversation like so many doctors. She is very accurate in her diagnosis and her treatments. She never second guess!! She will send you for testing or refer you to a excellent specialist. She has been my primary care doctor for over five years and I drive over fifty miles to see her!! She is wonderful!
