Dr. Ripley Robert Hollister, MD

Dr. Hollister does not honor your time, he makes you wait while he speaks with his pharmaceutical reps. The patient is not the priority, he is the priority. The office manager is extremely rude and unprofessional. I left this medical practice after being a patient there for 10 years. I now have a wonderful doctor that treats you with respect and professionalism. She also doesn't allow pharmaceutical reps to come to her office during patient office hours.

Great "bedside" manner. Listens, discusses and recommends. I have enjoyed working with Dr. Hollister for many years now. He has done a great job of keeping me healthy and when I am not he had prescribed just the right thing.

very arrogant, misdiagnosis of a major disease for two months. Terrible rude bossy disposition. Would not recommend.

Dr. Hollister always takes time to answer my questions. He's very knowledgeable and cares about me as a patient. If one thing doesn't work he's always willing to help me try something else. I have no complaints and hope he stays in medicine for a long time.

this place was a useless waste of time for me... the staff is aweful and that's all that could ever assist me bc Dr. Ripley Hollister was never there for me to speak with him, so i had to visit with the nurses and they don't know how to do anything but throw you medication for pain.. if you have serious health issues i suggest you just find another doctor.

Dr. Hollister is a very caring physician we have gone to him for 16 years and highly recommend him.

Dr. Hollister was not dedicated to me as a patient. He was unwilling to really dig and help me find answers. Poor diagnostic capability.He was agitated and annoyed with my questions. A bedside manner that is abrasive and uncaring.There is no reason to stay at this office.If Dr.Hollister wanted to help me he would have. He did'nt.

I moved here from out of state and went to see one of his PA's - staff was not very helpful. I took all my records in and they said they didn't need copies of them. Took my medication list in and went over it with PA - she stated there were no problems. The following week I contacted their office on Tuesday following Christmas to get rx refills. They stated there was no problem. Called pharmacy that evening and they hadn't heard from the doctor. I called on Wednesday and they said the PA was out of town and that Hollister would have to approve them - they clarified 2 rx. I called the pharmacy that night and they hadn't heard anything from the doctor. I called his office again on Thursday and they said that he didn't want to authorize the rx and needed all of my records. They also had lost the list of rx that I needed. Asked them what the hang-up was - staff didn't know and said he was in a room. Called pharmacy that night and they still hadn't heard from the doctor - grr. … Now it is Friday and I called again and they said he wanted to see me and needed my records (the ones I took to the first visit that the staff and PA said they didn't need.) At this point it is Friday before a holiday weekend and he is booked. Staff said he would call in the rx before the end of the day. Called pharmacy and they said that 3 of 5 were called in. The 2 that they had called to clarify on Wednesday were not called in. 2o minutes after 5:00 nobody in the office. Rude nurse on call that said she would call pharmacy and call me back - didn't do either. Worst customer service EVER. Poor communication - wish I would have looked at the other reviews before I went to see him...Hope this saves somebody else the pain of dealing with his office. I'm off to find a different Doctor - maybe somebody who cares!

Arrogant,I was not valued as a person and treated less then worthy as a patient. An ER visit was joked about and temporary restrictions were made fun of. Dr. hollister's bedside manner is ruthless. I left this appointment exhausted.
