Dr. Risa Beth Kramer, MD

Was so sad that I had to pick another primary care provider as Dr Kramer relocated her practice. She is an excellent primary care physician. She is proactive and compassionate. Anyone is blessed to have her as a physician. Good luck to her in all future endeavors.

So disappointed to learn that Dr. Kramer is leaving Columbia Medical!! I have been a patient of hers for several years, and she is competent, caring, and compassionate. It will be hard to find someone to fill her shoes. The most caring physician I've seen in a long time in this area!

Dr. Kramer is an excellent diagnostician. She has a most caring bedside manner ( very rare these days!) and takes the time to thoroughly answer all my questions. I’ve always found her front desk and MA staff extremely courteous and professional. If you seek a practitioner who is both extremely knowledgeable AND kind- make an appointment with Dr. Kramer!

Like another poster said, Dr. Kramer is an excellent doctor but her office procedures are declining all of the time. THe phone tree for getting an appt are very unfriendly and cold to the point that one might avoid calling. The new office space and weird waiting room are also off-putting. She is an excellent diagnostician and is warm and friendly but perhaps she needs to stop taking new patiends or hire more office staff to accomodate those she has.

We think Dr. Kramer is an excellent doctor. If we didn't we would switch due to the phone tree method they now use to get an appt. YOu must leave a message and someone will call you back to set up the appt. While you can get an appt in a reasonable amount of time this seems such a cold intro to her great services.

She is not careful about patient privacy. Some of her staff apparently read medical records for entertainment and then call the patient at home for no medical reason! This doctor is not receptive to complaints about staff behavior.
