Dr. Rishi Kakar, MD

Really Really caring and competent psyician and just a good human being. I saw him a while ago at office in lauderhill. I tried reaching out again but he is only doing research. Really wish he would come back to see patients. The medications and attention he gave me when I was so down despite him being so busy is not easy to do. He is also very smart you can tell. The student that saw me told me I would love him. Dr. K, hope you come back to practice. Pts need you.

Saw him before office went to telephone only. Don't know if he is practicing anymore. I had a great experience with him. I went with anxiety and even though he was busy, he really took time to listen and explained the options. He is not big on meds only which I like. He took time to explain some relaxation techniques as well. Office can be disorganized but its hard to find a caring smart doctor. I would def send my family to him if needed

Aflac cant pay me to go back to compass health. Again please note I can not rate doctor as i never meet him in any of my many visits. Pretty sure only met with women. If your having a crisis do not call or go to compass health . i always felt worse after leaving due to unprofessional and super rude staff. Do i really have to schedule and pay for an office visit for insurance claim related to office visit? Yall wont bill me if i show up but you want to bill me if i dont? After couple years of abuse from staff i decided i had enough. I truly thought how nice it may be to have pcp and pycsh at one location. Nope. Just made copays very difficult when no one would read my insurance card that states copays. What a joke

Very professional and genuine psychiatrist. Really cares about his patients. Office is disorganized and I wish he had his own practice, but very knowledgable. REally helpmed me with my depression and anxiety. His demeanor really puts me at ease . I wish he had more hours avaialble to see patients. Thank you

Insurance would not cover a prescription that he wrote because it was not written properly. It was not possible to reach the doctor after 9 phone calls and a call from the pharmacy. I am out of medication and not sure what to do.

Doctor kakar in my opinion is the best doctor I never have including Dr bally psychology thanks for everything and thanks

I have been in the waiting room literally over two hours because the office is full of patients who haven't been seen. Kakar spends 5 minutes with me when i finally get back into his actual office i dont see why everyone is waiting on one doctor. The person behind the desk happily took my payment but never checked me in. So now i have to wait longer when my appointment was over two hours ago. Absolutely Unacceptable.. Do better guys

Physician attempted to manipulate me into accepting medications that are in a class of drugs that not only have a multitude of negative side effects but actually give me suicidal ideations, hence exacerbating my anxiety, insomnia and mild depression. Physician is a dangerous health care provider. Having worked as a psychiatric nurse in the past , I have first hand experience with successful preventable suicides caused by mismanagement of medications and refusal to address said side effects.
