Dr. Rita Renee Claxton, MD

Worst Dr on staff. Needs license revoked. Doesn't listen to patient nor family and doesn't care. Won't return staff pages til after reported to Administration 5+ times by concerned family. She leaves patients in sheer agony not realizing they are medical and Admin. Smh the 6 rating is a joke on hospital site. Needs to be fired.

Dr. Claxton has a caring and calming demeanor. She asks lots of questions to get to know you and to assess your condition. She is not too proud to confer with other doctors when appropriate to do so. I felt I was in very capable hands when she was in charge of my care.

My family is very happy with Dr Claxton. Her bedside manner is wonderful. She talks to you not at you. I would recommend her to anyone. I also liked that she wrote on the board what my diagnosis was which made it easier to remember.
