Dr. Kay W Kirchler, MD

Visited Dr. Kirchler last summer and left there in tears. She made me feel terrible about myself. Don't want to go into details, but I said when I left there that I would never be back and never recommend her to anyone.

I felt Dr. Kirshler was in too big of rush to give a through examination. Poopoo’s every concern.

Dr. Kirchler is absolutely fantastic. She is the best Doctor I have ever had. She really cares about her patients. She takes the time to listen and to answer any and all questions that I've had over the 23 years I've been her patient. She personally called me at home the night before my Hysterectomy to make sure I was not nervous or had any questions. She called me again my first night back home. Very few Doctors take the time to personally call you at home to check on you. I have recommended her to everyone I know. She is the best.

Dr. Kirchler tells it like it is. She's very knowledgeable and she's a straight shooter. If you need things candy coated, go somewhere else, but she is one of the best in the Shoals. She takes time to actually listen to me, and she addresses my concerns, and she won't hesitate to let you know what you need to be doing to improve your overall health and well being.

Horrible experience! I do not feel she had good beside table manners, very awkward.

Took my 14 yr old daughter who was in severe pain & doubled up with cramps which was told to take Motrin or Tylenol like we hadn't tried that but made both of us feel stupid. I took her to get help & figure out what was wrong since she had pain on one side, Heavy monthly & swollen but didn't know anymore than we left. I didn't appreciate being talked down too after all being a mom I know the female body or making my daughter feel like she wasn't important or worth finding out what was wrong. When your child can't straighten out & in tears from so much pain when I know I've had cyst & dealt with endometriosis you want to make sure your child is ok but they were in such a hurry & could have been more sensitive also didn't appreciate being talked over also or not being able to explain fully the extent of what my daughter deals with. Maybe she was having a bad day but don't we all. When we left my daughter was in tears cause like she said Drs don't seem to care or go the extra mile to help… it's about Money. We are not the type of people to just go to the dr for every little pain needless to say I was very disgusted cause to watch my child hurt breaks my heart. We was only there for maybe 20-30 minutes just talked to Dr. Kirchler & then to see what that office visit was $200 plus was by far ridiculous. It baffles me to think a dr would not care or order test seeing my child tearing up or not listen cause if something is wrong it's better to catch things early it wasn't like we were there for pain pills cause she's 14 we wanted to know what was wrong. I'm not taking my daughter back but I'm sure she's helped others just not us. I thought surely we'd get some answers & help but I couldn't have been more wrong.
