Dr. Ritchie Beougher
Dr. Ritchie Beougher (pronounced boo-er) is the youngest of four siblings, and grew up on a wheat farm in the small town of Hayes, Kansas. As a teenager, he visited his oldest brother in Austin, Texas, and was so impressed with the growth and development of the area that he knew one day the Lone Star State would be his permanent home. Dr. Beougher went on to graduate from the University of Kansas, followed by four years at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, where he obtained his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. He completed his residency at the United States Navy in San Diego, California.
Making his way back to Texas in 1986, Dr. Beougher settled in Plano and established Willow Bend Dental a premier dental practice founded on the ideals of providing leading-edge technology, compassionate patient care and luxurious service. Always at the forefront of dental innovations, Willow Bend Dental was the first dental practice in the entire state of Texas to offer laser …teeth whitening.
Never satisfied with the ordinary, in 2004, Dr. Beougher constructed a revolutionary new dental practice in Plano, Texas, specifically designed to accommodate the latest technologies in dentistry, while providing an entirely new concept in patient care. The new facility offers not only a full range of state-of-the-art dentistry for entire families, from infants to octogenarians, cosmetic dentistry and sedation dentistry, but does so in an elegant and relaxing spa-like environment, complete with aromatherapy and massage!
To this day, Dr. Beougher continues his education with higher-level graduate courses, including the Masters Program at the Las Vegas Institute of Advanced Dental Studies, University of Alabama the Rosenthal Institute in New York City, and the Aesthetic Advantage program at Palm Beach University. So impressed with Dr. Beougher's abilities, the Rosenthal Institute and the Aesthetic Advantage programs invited him to return as a premier clinical instructor. In this capacity, Dr. Beougher and his family travel throughout the United States, sharing his knowledge with dental students and practitioners.
Outside the practice of dentistry, Dr. Beougher and his family spend time at sporting events, church activities, and on their family ranch, where they raise Quarter horses, cattle, and Labrador retrievers, and enjoy the peaceful beauty, fresh early mornings, and fabulous star-studded nights of this glorious state of Texas. In his heart, Dr. Beougher knows he chose the right place to call home.
