Dr. Riyad Fares, MD

Caring, gentle and responsive to the patient's needs, he is very experienced and provides excellent medical care . In these days of managed care, a doctor who is so present and attentive is rare.

A great Doctor! I had Dr. Kurz for many years and when he passed away at a young age. I thought I would never find a Doctor as good as him. I have also been a nurse for 45 years and I think I know a few things about Doctors and patient communication. I was sorry to read some of the comments, because I find him to be top notch with his patient interactions and have referred a couple of friends to him and they agree with me. Doctor Fares is a keeper!

Dr. Fares is knowledgeable, kind, patient, and up to date on the literature. He is leaving Cascade Physicians to start his own clinic. I wish him the best.

I saw this Dr twice and was mistreated verbally before being told to find another Dr. He lacks both skill and tact. Repot abuses by this Dr. He should not be practicing!

I was so disappointed with how rude and rough Dr. Fares was during my appointment. When he was unable to identify my pain his reaction was confusing and mildly aggressive. I understand not having the answers, I don't understand blaming your patient. I'm glad to hear that others had more positive experiences. I would highly suggest treading lightly if you feel you have to choose this physician. He was truly awful to me.

Dr Fares has been very accurate with his diagnosis. I have found him to be engaging and personable. Like so many doctors, I am sure he has thousands of patients on his books, but he always makes the visits very personal by asking questions which relate to your family, work etc. Also, he ALWAYS timely, something that is too rare these days.

The worst Dr I've ever met... by a long shot. If you have any serious medical conditions look elsewhere... dealing with Dr Fares will just add to your suffering
