Placed implant , no issues , looks great No pain, great caring person

I first came to Dr. Gangji's office on the recommendation of my previous dentist as one of the dentists in the area who would continue working on my invisalign case. Dr. Gangji has been great with taking on the continuation of the case. More importantly, I was ready to start taking care of my much neglected missing teeth, and he has years of experience with placing implants. Dr. Gangji carefully explains the pros and cons of every step and allows me the time to make the choice that makes me feel most comfortable. As of yesterday, I have received one of the two implants that I needed and am looking forward to the next one. Overall, I highly recommend Dr. Gangji and his practice.

Thought this would be a good experience...but the office policy is NOT to do a regular cleaning if you are diagnosed by THEM with periodontal disease. I go to two dentists... one in North Carolina where we have a home and one in NY who i have been going to for over 20 yrs. I just moved to bethlehem, pa. and wanted to find a new dentist in the area. I go for a checkup every four months either in NC or in NY to get my teeth cleaned and I have NEVER been diagnosed with gum disease. I have always had a regular cleaning. This practice took x-rays, and then a hygienist came in and did the gum probe. she said i had periodontal disease and the office policy was such once diagnosed...i would need a deep cleaning...and mine was so bad i would need two sessions with anesthesia each time. WHAT??? AND of course it will cost a lot more money. the dentist came in to examine my mouth and did not disagree with the hygienist. I paid and left without any cleaning and went to another dentist in… another practice in the area who said i definitely DID NOT have any periodontal disease. my teeth and gums were healthy. he agreed with my other two dentists in both NC and NY and said come in for a regular cleaning. he couldn't believe that Gentle Family Dentistry diagnosed me with periodontal disease. Beware of Gentle Family Dentistry. They diagnose periodontal disease on healthy gums so they can do deep cleanings that cost over $1,000 dollars.
