Dr. Rizwan Bajwa, DO

Dr. removed my beloved wife from her mood stabilizer, which she was on for a well-documented, long-standing bipolar condition, without replacing it with another, causing her to have a full blown manic episode. He and Hinsdale Hospital then refused to let our family see her, and released her instead to relatives, whom she was fearful of. She has not been heard from in 4 months since. If you have a loved one who cannot advocate for themselves, PLEASE do not let them see this doctor!

I was admitted to the hospital after having what I soon learned was a stroke. I feel very lucky that Dr. Bajwa was assigned to my case because he was very thorough and ordered all the right tests. His bedside manner is great and he answered all of my questions.

Dr. Bajwa has an extremely caring bedside manner because he is an extraordinary person of character. He is an excellent neurologist a, very knowledgeable, and interested in ameliorating any negative systems. Share your concerns with him and he can help.

Dr. Bajwa has been my neurologist for three years for MS. What I love about him is that he respects his patient's decisions and allows them to be in the driver's seat of their own health care. That being said, I have no doubt that if I was making a dangerous decision, he would respectfully confront me. There are few doctors that will listen the way he does and trust his patients.

I was under Dr Bajwa's care about two years ago. I found him to be very patient and thorough. I was seeing him for severe headaches. I have had two years headache free, but they have begun again. Since he knows my medical history and I trust him, I will be making another appointment soon.

Dr. Bajwa is the kind of doctor you need these days. He is extremely responsive, patient and thorough. I went to him when I developed Bells Palsy after consulting 2 other neurologists, both of whom took the condition lighty . Dr. Bajwa gave it the due dilligence it required.I had multiple questions and required consults through out my recovery phase and Dr. Bajwa was always prompt in responding to me via email and even called me back in some cases.

Dr. Bajwa was recommended by my opthamologist two years ago when optic neuritis led to an MS diagnosis. I have never considered looking for another neurologist as I am totally satisfied with Dr. Bajwa in terms of his down-to-earth personality and reality-based recommendations for treating my MS.

doesn't listen to patient. untruthful about CCSVI

Completely inaccurate EMG testing. This doctor missed my nerve problems completely. He performed a 5 minute EMG and was not thorough at all with his exam. I have since been to another neurologist for testing, had an accurate EMG showing nerve conduction slowing. Had surgery finally and have feeling back in my limb. This doctor is a quack.
