Dr. Robbie Cooksey, DO

Dr. Cooksey has been a wonderful caring Physician. He listens and is very quick to help you solve problems. However! He is changing to a new system that is completely unafordable for me. If I could change his mind I would. He is a wonderful person as well as a wonderful physician however this new program out of my reach. I will miss seeing him terribly.

I agree with the rest of the reviews. Dr. Cooksey is awesome. But his office staff, forget it....I have walked in to my appointments and finding out that it was cancelled and that I called to cancel it, which I never do! This happened to me twice. Definitely need to get some qualified, professional, friendly office staff.

I have been seeing Dr. Cooksey for a year. He takes the time to truly listen to me each time I visit. He is very thorough and his bedside manner is extremely pleasant. Each time I leave, I feel like I have been talking to a friend, as well as a doctor. Thank God for Dr. Cooksey!!

We like and trust Dr. Cooksey. He is knowledgeable and professional. He does not rush through a visit but takes his time to talk to us and to hear what we have to say. As for his office workers, that's a different story. It takes several calls to get through sometimes, and you can expect to be put on hold. In the office, several are pleasant, but most are rude and insensitive. Once I walked in to ask a question of the receptionist, who was typing on her computer. She said, "I'll get to you in a minute" and never even looked up. I stood there several minutes and then walked out the door. I feel that Dr. Cooksey's care is worth it, but it is not usually a happy experience checking in or out of his office. I also wish he would see patients at Hendrick.

Good doctor but office staff is terrible. Disorganized, doesn't return calls, difficult to get through to take appointments.

There has never been a time that I didn't have to hit "redial" on my phone for at least 20 minutes to finally stop getting a busy signal and having someone answer. I've been trying to get through for 3 hours and 45 minutes today and only get a busy signal constantly. Dr. Cooksey is a good doctor, but it is consistently a problem getting through their phone lines. I am abandoning him because of this. The office staff isn't very nice, either.

I have never had a Doctor take the time to talk and explain things as Dr. Cooksey does
