He is a confident and skilled surgeon and I am glad I chose him to perform my procedure. Both he and his staff are very nice and were extremely helpful and responsive throughout the entire process.

I am a new recent patient of Dr. Akbari and wanted to share my experience. For me an unforeseen medical challenge and hospital stay was concerning. He and his staff were terrific in their care, understanding and follow ups. I'm happy to have found him.

If you value your time, see another doctor. An hour+ wait time to see Dr. Akbari seem the norm and accepted practice within the office staff. A four hour wait for my procedure was excused as a delay at the hospital, but within the office it can only be the fault of the doctor and scheduling habits. A 15minute delay is a max acceptable time for me, beyond that is just rude.

Dr. Akbari was very knowledgeable about my condition. He gave me several options. I opted for the less invasive one and he did not pressure me otherwise. He took his time to explain everything thoroughly. I am happy with the result and would not hesitate to see him again should my condition change.

Was not expecting a surgeon to actually spend time with me! Answered all questions, respectful, and had insights in my health as a whole. Wonderful experience--highly recommend!

Seemed too shy to delve into informing me about what i knew nothing about. Didn't directly answer the questions i had. I left with more questions than i came in with. I felt awkward enough, so i rescheduled with a different doctor.

i was so worried to go see a male doctor for this problem, but my problem became bigger than my pride. He was completely professional, incredibly caring, he was confident without being arrogant or ignorant (which is a RARE find these days.) He was very gentle and a TOTAL gentleman. I would recommend him to anyone. And his Nurse Ginny.... a TOTAL GEM. Such a sweet woman. I would go back there in a heartbeat.
