I just had my gallbladder out with Dr. Aki using the Da Vinci Robotic Surgery. I was home that morning. I put this surgery off for 5 years. I am so happy to have this over with. He is excellent at what he does!!! If you are looking for a surgeon - I think he is one of the BEST!!!

doctor aki is a amazing surgeon and he takes the time to explain all facets of your procedure he is very caring and meticulous he operated on my bowel two years ago all with minimally invasive surgery also very thorough 5 stars and his staff is great also!!!!

So lucky to find such a gifted Doctor!

Dr. Aki is a kind and compassionate surgeon. He operated on me and several members of my family for medical issues ranging from non life threatening to advanced cancer. I have trusted him with my life and would recommend him to anyone facing surgery.

He's a sort of middle of the road kind of Doctor. Not amazing. Not bad. If he's in network for you, I'd say go to him. But be sure you get a second opinion before going under the knife with any doctor, really. For general stuff I wouldn't recommend him. Otherwise, he's okay.

The receptionist when asked a yes or no question, responded by mm or yea. It took 1-1/2hrs of wait time for him!! I came to him for lypomas on my legs. Yet, he told me they were arthritic related and I needed to see an R.A. doctor & if the doctor thought they should be removed, then come back to Aki. This took 1-1/2! The conversation took a complete 4 or 5 minutes. I told him I wanted them removed regardless & he said we had to wait the response of the R.A. doctor & I said no. I could tell he wasnt pleased w/my over riding his superior knowledge in the field. I was very, very dissatisfied w/him. I was able to have them removed from another surgeon & even explained the previous situation, but this surgeon hadnt any idea what Dr. Aki was saying to me. Even, as a layman, I knew he was wrong. He exited the room mad at me and I was furious with him.

the office staff was not friendly. I waited for more than 45 mins when I did get to see the doctor he seemed very dismissive to my problem. Told me to come back in a week. I felt as though he did not believe me. Getting the follow up visit was not easy so went someplace else would not return.
