Dr. Robert Bruce Albee JR., MD

I've been a patient for over 30 years. Dr Albee is an excellent physician with a stellar reputation. He has made it a point to familiarize himself with the most current procedures and practices. Highly recommend.

Everyone says that you have endometriosis Dr. Albee is a must! I did not find this to be true. I went to him and agreed to allow him to operate on me the following year during summer (when school was out) When my script for lupron was up, he told me that he was giving me no medication. The type of birth control pill he gave me does not agree with me. I asked for him to change me to a different birth control pill, but he refused. The nurse told me that he told her to tell me that when I was enough pain then I needed to come in for surgery. It was only January. I needed to make it another 5-6 months before summer. I could not take time off in the middle of the term to have surgery because my health insurance was through my school. Without school there was no health insurance. Without health insurance it didn't matter how much pain I was in... I wouldn't be able to have surgery. Maybe he is a good surgeon (I wouldn't know) but he has poor bedside manners and doesnt seem to… understand some of the difficulties young women in school have with financing their medical expenses.

Dr. Albee and dr. Senirvo are the most professional and compassionate doctors that I have had the honor of having as my physicians. I had stage IV endo, about as bad a case as one can have. Not only were they caring, the took an incredible amount of time reviewing my case. As wonderful as they are as doctors, they have a professional and caring staff. How do I know about how they should rate? I have had six surgeries in two years, including one for neurosurgery. No one has been as professional or as compassionate as Dr. Albee and his staff. Another perk is how well he and Dr. Sinervo are respected by their peers. When my other doctors see their names, they comment how well-respected and knowledgeable they are, both as physicians and surgeons. I recommend that everyone do their homework about this awful disease and the surgeons that do their best to eradicate this disease. With all my heart, I recommend these doctors and pray that God makes more like them. Bless you Dr. Albee and… Sinervo for all that you do to help us that are victims of this condition. And bless your staff that are so professional AND caring...truly caring.

Dr. Albee convinced me that only removing my uterus was the best surgery since since sliced bread! Within the first month, I was bleeding, cramping, dizzy, SICK! I kept calling them, they kept telling me to go see a G.I doc, a, ENT, pain doc. I went through every test. Mind you he would not see me himself. Hello I just had major surgery, all the sudden have all these issues and he wanted to blame every other condition known to man. He left my cervix in tact, 6 years later, I cannot see a doc from any field that does not ask "why did they leave your cervix"! I still have periods, YES you can bleed from your cervix. I also had a history of ovarian cancer, and never wanted children. He was my second opinion, and SOLD me! I know have cysts on my ovaries and have to have a full hysterectomy. PLEASE get several opinions. I would not wish my experience on my worst enemy!! If you dont want kids have a full hysterectomy! You would be taking less hormones that you did on birth control. I travelled from quite a considerable distance to have surgery with Dr. Albee at the CEC. While he was better than any other OB/GYN I had ever seen for my endometriosis issues, I did not have a very positive experience with him or his staff. First of all, both my partner and I were very put off by the fact that neither he nor did any other doctor see me in the hospital after taking out my uterus. We did not feel cared for at all. I still have pain and still have bleeding--and have called the office many times, but it is nearly impossible to speak with a *doctor*. The nursing staff who field the calls aren't helpful. I feel so lost. I have since been recommended to see a different endometriosis specialist. I am very skeptical given this experience, but so far the *doctor* is calling me back which is a good sign.

Several years ago, I traveled a considerable distance to be treated by Dr. Albee and as a result my life has been forever changed!!! Prior to being treated by him, I had been misdiagnosed, been put through two previous surgeries and lived in constant CHRONIC pain for many years! It is because of Dr. Albee's knowlege caring and expertise that I am completely pain free and live a productive life today. He has a phenomenal bedside manner and it is very apparent that he truly cares about his patients and their families.

Very caring and friendly and did not make me feel rushed and answered any questions I had and that made me feel less stressed and he made me feel comfortable.

Dr. Albee has such in depth knowledge of endometriosis. Along with his caring and professional manner, he is one of the best doctors you could ever have. I am blessed to have had him as my doctor/surgeon. His staff are also very kind and always have a smile on their face.

I can not even begin to tell you how I feel about Dr. Albee. He is the most amazing physician and person I've ever known. He has been my MD for 10 years. He is caring, compassionate, concerned, easy to speak with, understanding, and the list goes on. He is by far the best Endometriosis Specialist and GYN I've ever known.
