In 2006 Dr. Altman burned my ureter and left me disabled for the rest of my life having to undergo 6 more pelvic surgeries, many hospitalizations, foley catheters and life long nerve pain as a result of his rushed and sloppy surgical technique. He never even acknowledged his mistake. I suffer from severe endometriosis and this doctor has NO regard for how to treat women with this severe disease. Attention to detail and meticulous surgical technique are musts with this disease. Instead, this doctor did a rush 30 minute ovary removal, spilling the contents of my ovary throughout my pelvis (before he shoved it into the "bag" which was supposed to happen BEFORE it ruptured all over) which led to spreading of the disease and, as noted above, thermally injuring my ureter, which strictured (closed down) and almost led me to lose my kidney. I would never have even known about this if I had not already had a gallbladder scan scheduled two months later. When I went for my follow up and… still had significant pain and was visably unwell (from my swollen kidney) he dismissed my concerns and told me my fibroids would be next thing he needed to operate on. WOMEN BE WARNED: STAY AWAY!!!

Dr. Altman is the best. He was fast but never made me feel rushed. made me feel like I was his number one patient. I ended up having a c-section. He made me feel so calm and secure.

Dr Altamn was my ob with my first child. I always felt his bedside manner was great. He is so kind and even my husband thinks alot of Dr Altman. You could never go wrong with him. He is wonderful.

Dr. Altman is the best medical professional I have seen. he is so caring and compassionate and my favorite thing is how patient he is. My experience with other docs is that they are trying to squeeze in patient on top of patient so your time with them is very limited. I have never gotten that feeling when I have been with him. His staff is professional and friendly. I have been through 3 miscarriages and am 35 weeks pregnant and couldnt have gone through all of with out his compassion, and advice. HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM!
