Dr. Bruce Ammons, Ph.D.

With 33 years of experience in psychotherapy, Dr. Bruce Ammons is a distinguished psychologist specializing in trauma, particularly complex PTSD. Dr. Ammons has worked with first responders, military veterans, and a diverse range of individuals with various conditions. Dr. Ammons first earned a PhD in experimental psychology from Duke University. He also worked as an editor for two of the largest psychology journals for 18 years. Thereafter, he earned his PhD in Clinical Psychology. Dr. Ammons earned his PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Montana in 2001 and has been in practice for 18 years. His extensive expertise is enhanced by his membership in the International Experiential Dynamic Therapy Association and his completion of core training in 2013.
