Dr. Robert Wesley Appling, MD

After diagnosising a genetic tumor condition in my feet, Appling began treatment that he assured me that I would see results after the second or third treatment; yet, he, abruptly, ended treatment after the first. I'd traveled 2 hours there and back just to be insulted about my shoes. My shoes are Dr. Scholl's.

I was told that it would take more than one treatment to see a difference with the condition I have in my feet; yet, he treated me once and dismissed me. When I came in for second treatment after traveling two hours, he spoke on my arch which I had no problem with and was not there for and ridiculed my shoes. That was extremely awkward considering my shoes were Dr. Scholl's. Everyone knows this brand has built in arch support. He tend to get upset at my mentioning of the weight gain from the steroid injections. My Primary Physician made the statement; plus, it's my body and I wasn't upset. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to know steroids cause weight gain- even a little bit. In the sixth grade, i picked up weight just from my asthma inhaler... But, he is just a foot doctor. It is my body and I wasn't upset. My focus was the tumors in my feet that he now failed to treat as he'd previously began to do and immaturely abandoned to complete. Appling' s Foot Clinic was a great… disappointment for me! Again, that's two hours there and back. I bet my insurance was still charged and the total visit was a complete waste of time.

I had an ingrown toenail removed from one side each on two toes. I hate needles and have a very low pain tolerance, but once the shots were over, I didn’t feel anything. It’s been 2 days, and I still don’t feel any pain. He made everything as painless and fast as possible, and the office staff was very nice as well. This was my first time going there, and I would not go anywhere else.
