Dr. Robert Alejo Armada, DO

Caused a massive hematoma during exploratory laparoscopic surgery. Lied to me about what happened after being rushed to the ER with internal bleeding. Diagnosed me with pelvic congestion syndrome and told me I needed a hysterectomy instead of referring me out to a vascular surgeon or intervention radiologist. I now suffer from medical PTSD and life long scar tissue pain because of the repair surgery that left a 7" scar down my abdomen.

Kept saying dumb jokes like, "look the baby is black". Well, we are Hispanic. That's no way to joke around in a serious time like getting a cesarean. Just jokes and more jokes during the entire thing. All paperwork was lost for her and had to rush new paperwork to be filled. After surgery she kept losing a lot of blood and needed a blood transfusion but wasnt allowed one because she had supposedly signed to not receive one. That's completely false, we never signed for that, I know because I was there with her every single appointment. We NEVER signed to such a thing. Just a bad experience. The baby is now 2 and she continues to bleed everyday for months at a time, stops bleeding for about 15 days or so and then it all starts back up again. She's always in pain whenever she lifts anything over 5 pounds because of the malpractice.

DR. Armada is the best OB/GYN I know..I am extremely grateful for his experstise and fortunate to have had him deliver my 3 kids. He also performed my surgery for an ovarian cyst removal. He delivered my grandson & my daughter was very happy with his services. His wife Jeanine is just as amazing! I am extremely sad to learn they are no longer in Upland. I will miss them very much.. I absolutely love, DR. Armada & Jeanine??

I am grateful to have been a patient of Dr. Robert Armada who has always provided me with excellent over the past 25ish years. I have also seen his wife who was an excellent NP in his office. The surrounding community will be missing his talents from a professional standpoint and I hope that he enjoys some well deserved time with his family and friends. Well done, Dr. Armada!

I am terribly saddened to find out that you are closing your practice; although after reading of your situation, I understand why. BOTH Dr. Armada and his wife have been considerate and professional with me during my time with them as a patient. I am sorry that circumstances have forced you to take this action.

This Doctor and Staff are amazing. I had been with them for over 10 plus years. Dr Armada delivered my son and I even took my 16 year old daughter for her first check up. I am so sad that I now work for a different employer and have Kaiser. I cannot go to Dr. Armada. I recommend this doctor to anyone I can.

Dr. Armada is the best OB/GYN around. I have been a patient for years. He has always spend as much time with me as I required, answering all my questions and concerns. I had 2 high risk pregnancies and I trust his judgment. I spend a lot of time at the hospital due to my risk factor and asked the nurses who they had as their Doctor and most of them see Dr. Armada The nurses should know who the best is as they see his work and patience everyday. I love his sense of humor and appreciate how he tells it like it is. Could not ask for a better doctor!

I love love love doctor Armada! He delivered my daughter and I completely trust him. I was in labor for 30 hours when things started to go south and I had to be rushed in for an emergency c-section. I was terrified, having never gone through surgery before and also terrified that something horrible would happen to my daughter. But Doctor Armada put all my fears at ease and took such good care of me during the days after my daughters birth. Throughout my pregnancy I received nothing but outstanding prenatal care by him and his staff. Ira, his receptionist is so sweet and professional and accommodating. I will always go to Dr. Armada for my OB care.

Been a patient of Dr. Armada's for over 12 years. He delivered both of my children. I have nothing but good things to say about my experiences with him.
