Need a surgeon and not sure who to go to? Let me tell you about Dr. Robert Armstrong of Dubois, PA. I was in severe pain in my hips, could hardly walk, and the doctor operated on both hips at the same time. The operation was a success. I am still healing, but the pain is gone. Dr. Robert Armstrong gets a very high rating on my list.

There was no choosing an orthopedic surgeon. I know of Dr. Armstrong's quality of care and he is who I wanted to do my surgery. No need to get second opinions.

I have had four replaced joints and am satisfied with all.

This doctor said i had no tear in my shoulder. well i did and had it fixed by another. I will not recommand this doctor to anyone!

I can not say enough good about Dr. Armstrong. I was in so much pain when I went to him I did not even want to walk anymore. I thought it was my right knee. After x-rays he said no... that my right hip was in bad shape. He tells you in a clear and concise way what is needed (in my case a hip replacement). He tells you what to expect. He listened to "all" my concerns. Dr. Armstrong visited my husband and I before surgery and assured us both. He visited in recovery and assured me all went well. This meant so very much. Better yet, the awful pain is gone, all gone. My quality of life has improved 100 per cent 2 years later I am a better person, especially a better Grandma, because I can walk places with my family and wonderfully with my Granddaughters. The old couch potato is enjoying life and it is all thanks to Dr. Armstrong.

Dr. Armstrong performed a total knee replacement on me and I canâ??t express how great it is to be totally free of pain and have my normal mobility back again. As soon as I came out of surgery, I realized for the first time in years, I no longer have any deep bone pain and it was such a relief. Yes, the surgery hurt but it was different and not as intense. All the while I was in the hospital, Dr. Armstrong was diligent to ensure I was being taken care of and that I was not discharged until I felt comfortable getting around with my walker. Recovery and physical therapy were not easy but doing what I was told helped me to a speedy and full recovery. Iâ??ve heard complaints about how terrible the whole process was for others but when I asked how therapy went, the response usually was they quit because of the pain and now they are having difficulty with the replacement and want the doctor to do something about it. Iâ??ll close with this, how many doctors will shake your hand at the end of… your appointment and say, â??God bless youâ?? as you leave? Throughout this entire process, Dr. Armstrong and his entire staff were there for me with anything I needed. I always felt I was his only patient. If I even need the other knee done, I would not hesitate to have Dr. Armstrong perform that procedure as well. Many thanks.

One of the best Orthopaedic surgeons in this area. Has replaced both hips and one knee all turned out excellent. Would highly recommend Dr. Armstrong. Why leave home?

Our first visit to Dr. Armstrong's Office, we knew we had chosen the right Dr. for me. I had a page full of questions. Dr. Armstrong, listened, and answered every question we had, plus some we didn't think of. He not only told us his procedure of doing knee transplants, but showed us. I had done research on the computer about the different artificial knees available and we were glad to hear, he used the one, we also thought was the best. My surgery and recovery went just the way he told us. If I ever need any other surgeries, Dr. Armstrong will be the one I go to. Dr. Armstrong gave me the option of where I wanted my therapy, but I just picked the one convenient to travel to, we were wrong. One suggestion, which I was not aware of at the time, choose your therapist before surgery, just as you choose your Dr. The therapist is equal as important as your surgeon. Dr. Armstrong did an excellent surgery on both my knees. I can do anything, You have got to listen to him… and do as he says. I now have my life back

After 6 operations performed by Dr. Armstrong I would recommend him to anyone. Very caring, not just him but his staff also Excellent care and advise , before and after surgery straight forward in answering your questions. Very competent surgeon.
