Dr. Robert J Arsenault

I called my insurance and was told he was a participating provider When I called to make an appt. I was told that the 1st initial visit would cost me between $65-$85. I called back my insurance and was told this was nonsense that the appt should be covered under Medicare or Empire. If that’s true why was the drs office going to bill me $65-85? I have put a complaint in to my insurance co.

Dr. Arsenault was very thorough with his plan of action and made me feel so much relief after a few treatments. Great doctor and has a great and welcoming staff as well. Would definitely recommend him!

I went to Colony Chiropractic upon the recommendation of a friend of mine who swears buy chiropractic.I have never been to a chiropractor before so I was a little apprehensive. The staff was very friendly and put me at ease right away. They were very prompt with my appointment and the doctor was very thorough with his exam and recommendations. I have been treated 3 times and already feel 90% better! I don't know what the other reviews were talking about, the paper work was easy and quick. I was very thankful they explained the costs of what insurance covered and did not cover so there were no surprises. I did not feel rushed or see any kind of assembly line treatment and I really liked the instrument they used to adjust my neck. They were very conservative in their recommendations (2 weeks of care and then re-evaluate). I would highly recommend them for anyone that is in pain and suffering like I was.

I don’t know what these other 3 people were talking about but I had an exceptional experience at Dr. Arsenault’s office today. I’m visiting from NH and have inflamed an old injury. I called yesterday afternoon and was able to get an appointment at 11:00. At the time of booking the appointment I was asked what insurance I had. I was also told total cost of appointment would be reviewed with me before commencement of treatment, which it was. I was greeted by Rubi with a handshake when I arrived. I completed the forms and only waited a few minutes before Emily took me to a private room to discuss my current pain and history. Dr. Arsenault examined me and then had Assistant Emily put me through some range of motion exercises to assess my condition. Dr. Arsenault then adjusted me then I volunteered to have EMS treatment which Emily applied. Because of the severity of my inflammation I am going back tomorrow for another adjustment. I think the 3 prior reviewers have never been to a… chiropractic office before - it is customary to continue “maintenance” for several months or so in order to stay pain free. No one knows this better than I do. Back in NH I got 2 times a month. I’ve been in the Villages for 6 weeks without treatment which is why my injured discs flared up again.

An assembly line impersonal treatment. I was so much worse after his robotic treatments

I was a patient of theirs a couple of years ago and called a few days ago to make an appointment to address a new medical issue. When I arrived they asked me for my health care card and gave me the usual paperwork to fill out. They returned my medical card a few minutes later after making a copy of it. I spent a good fifteen minutes completing the paperwork and then was taken into an office and interviewed about my condition. Toward the end of the interview I was informed that they do not take my health care [Blue Cross] and that my initial visit would cost me out of pocket in excess of $100. Obviously no one asked me on the phone the first question we are always asked "what kind of coverage do you have" Not only did I waste my time going there but once there I wasted more time filling out paperwork and being interviewed before anyone told me that they were "out of network"and couldn't accept my coverage and frankly I have never heard of a doctor that didn't take Blue Cross!! No… comment about the doctor himself but a terrible, incompetent office staff!

I have been to at least 20 different chiro offices and never had been approached with a contract agreement to 6 weeks therapy at over $1,000. I told them I would come in as needed. And after one week I didn't even need to go back. Seems they are money hungry or taking advantage of older patients.
