I have been to many, many dermatologist in the area to look at possible skin cancer areas on my forearms and hands. With every "dermatologist" office I had been to, I did not see an actual M.D., even after specifically asking to see one, I was seen by a P.A. Also, all the practices were eager to cut out a sample and perform their own pathology within their office, which I felt was unnecessary and costly . I finally received a recommendation from a friend to see Dr. Baker. He was kind, thorough and didn't preform any unnecessary incisions. I felt extremely comfortable with Dr. Baker's obvious confidence and knowledge base. Also, with the one skin cancer he did had to remove, he performed this new inside-out stitch which minimized the scar on my arm. I highly recommend Dr. Baker!

I just moved from downtown to the mandarin area and was in search of a new dermatologist. I happened to be getting blood drawn for my physical and noticed that there was a dermatologist in the building. I went upstairs to make an appointment and was happy to be scheduled (even as a new patient) within a week. Everyone there was so nice and cheery..and dr baker has such a great, easy-going personality. I believe he really knows what he's doing (he's Harvard-trained) and I didn't have to wait too long. I will definitely tell anyone who wants to know, that this practice gets an A-plus from me!

Doctor Baker is a kind, gentle and very knowledgeable doctor. He took the time to remove all the whorty skin lesians that I pointed out to him. I was very pleased. His staff are friendly and professional. I consider Dr. Baker my dermatologist for all future dermatology concerns.

I have had a rash practically all over my whole body for a good 2 months and have had the worst time finding anyone to help me. I heard about Dr Baker from a co-worker and decided that one more dermatologist couldn't hurt. I AM SO GLAD I DID!!!!! For the first time in what seems like forever, I can sleep without itching myself to death! Dr Baker has a great bedside manner. Although I waited about 35 minutes, it was well worth the wait!! He actually listens. To me, that is BIG. I didn't feel like he was rushing me out, either. The doctor and his staff were very warm and personable...unlike a certain LARGE practice I went to that made me feel like I was not valued at all.

After waiting over an hr. for my appt. I was rushed through what was supposed to be a whole body check as well as address a few specific problems. Baker was rude, and even rough, pushing my head side to side as he examined my face, rather than gently touching and asking me to turn it myself. His diagnosis was a guess, and he made it clear he didn't have time to address my other issues. He had no bedside manner & was short and hurried, annoyed by my questions as he rushed to get out of the exam room. When he did leave, the assistant was absolutely mortified by his behavior and apologized profusely. That's how bad it was....the worst doctor appt. I've ever had. The treatment he prescribed - which I told him didn't work before with the last doc- once again did nothing for me.When I called back to cancel a follow up appt. did they ask why or to reschedule? Nope.Do yourself a favor and find another dermatologist who knows what he's doing, gives a crap about his patients, and who allows… more than 15 mins for appts. so he doesn't run an hour behind schedule then try to herd everyone out like cattle.

Very happy to finally find a dermatologist who listens to his patients. Friendly staff, clean office.Information regarding my psorisis was easy to understand. Would recommend Dr. Baker to our patients at our baptist Primary Care office.
