excellent eye doctor

As a relatively young person (now in my mid-20's) I was diagnosed with a detached retina at age 17--which appeared to be due to genetics, but was kind of unheard of considering my age and good general health. I was extremely upset and shocked when my regular opthamologist told me I'd need emergency surgery or I could lose sight in my right eye. I couldn't have asked for a better doctor than Dr. Baldwin. The care that was taken to explain things to me, to keep me calm and to reassure me of recovery as well as the excellent surgery work he did have been so helpful to me...I still have full vision in my right eye (with just a small increase in my contact lens prescription), and despite many up's and down's with both eyes, Dr. Baldwin has made sure that my health and vision remain strong, and that no compromises in care were made. I'd recommend him with full confidence to anyone needing retinal or specialty eye care.

Dr. Baldwin is one of the most arrogant doctors I have meet recently. If you don't mind being referred to as dude and waiting for two hours you'll love Dr. Baldwin. The entire practice has the same arrogant attitude and has no concept of patient focused care. I hope they can focus on the patient more rather than moving a high volume of patients though for profit!!!
