WORST doctor I have ever seen!!! Save your time and your money! I went to him (by referral from GP) for sleep issues related to my hyperthyroidism and he told me my sleep issue was "all in my head". Clearly that is not the case if I have a clinical diagnosis. He would not write me a prescription for a sleeping pill. I also happened to have a sinus infection and he told me that it would just go away on it's own. Ended up in the urgent care still needing an antibiotic. He also walked out!

I really like his approach to providing patient care. He listens to what the patient has to day, and answers questions. He is willing to discuss possible alternative methods of treatment. He is a nice person and a find doctor.

The doctor and his staff do not return phone calls. I took a sleep test at home and and delivered the device to the office. Over the next month, I called many times and was told the doctor hadn't reviewed it yet. I have an oral appliance and my dentist also tried to reach him for over three weeks. My next test was for oxygen flow. Either his office or Apria messed up the instructions the first time. Again, I couldn't get a response from his office regarding the results. They finally called and told me that the test had to be redone. I called for three months trying to get results of this second oxygen study. I finally left a message to pack up my records and I would find a doctor and staff that will respond in a more timely manner.

One of the best physicians I have ever met. Extraordinarily smart, competent and compassionate.

Dr ballard is not only an excellent practitioner, but patient and thoughtful. He is thourough and I find that he really listens to what his patient has to say. I would recommend him on every level!

Front office staff was outstanding.

Dr. Ballard will write prescription after prescription, and for some people that may be enough. For people with a chronic problem he lacks the compassion and know how to get to the root for the problem and get yourself healthy. If you need a quick write up for pills, he will do it no questions asked. If you have a serious health problem with your sleep and need a doctor who cares and understands, look elsewhere.
